Top 10 games of the past 10 years

Seems true that video games have developed in the past 10 years. Surely, most of us recollect playing Ms. Pac-Man in the early ’80s, but in fact many of the games released over the past 10 years have changed both in technology and gaming, but in many ways amusement in general. Here we choose the top 10 games of the past 10 years in our top ten list with details.

1. Half-Life (1998)

When first time it was released in 1998, gamers understood that Half-Life was becoming a great game. At that time we had no notion that it would change the first-person shooter type forever. When the world of shooters were prevailing the online titles such as Quake II, Half-Life brought for gamers an astounding story-based knowledge. Playing as Gordon Freeman, Half-Life created feeling as if taking the lead role in a well-written action film. One may say that we would not have other great shooters based on stories, such as Medal of Honor and Call of Duty.

As compared with different Warcraft and Command and Conquer titles before hand, Starcraft had some big defensive shoes to fill. In Quake, view looked fine, game play invented the boasting keyboard-and-mouse gaming combination that was required to move up, down, left, and right, all while moving your character forward and backward and firing left or right. And let us remember that with a recording made specifically for the game by Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, Quake also gave us the idea of conventional artists who make music for video games.

With open surroundings that gave players a lot of freedom, you could enjoy the game without going into its more shady appearance. You already know that GTAIII is about stealing cars, killing people, sleeping with prostitutes, and many other things that make the Mature rating seem suitable. While it is convenient to get diverted by GTAIII’s great filthiness, the fact remains that the real gameplay is truly amusement.
